Implementing e-learning

e-learning in the Workplace

So far, e-learning has been successfully embedded in only about 20% of organisations. However, there is available sufficient robust research into the future of the Internet for us to be fairly certain that the use of the Internet and computer technology within the learning process is set to increase.

Although the highest percentage of adoption is seen in large organisations, there is nevertheless a significant growth within the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) market. SME's are gaining increased commercial advantage from use of the Internet for business ends, and it is only a matter of time before this translates into an increased use for learning purposes.

e-learning Expansion

There are already many different variations on an e-learning theme in the fields of management and personal effectiveness. However, economies of scale mean that the future expansion of e-learning will require different approaches and methods to those predominantly being used at present.

One of these methods is the use of the animated PowerPoint presentation, the delivery of which for the purposes of e-learning only became feasible with the development and spread of broadband internet connections.

e-coaches and e-learning

Future expansion in e-learning must be low-cost, timely, and capable of involving many more people in its delivery than at present. Trainers will be obliged to get out of the classroom and onto the internet. To do this effectively, they will require a range of skills, knowledge, and an appreciation of possibilities - and these do not seem to be widely represented amongst current training communities.

At e-coaches, we specialise in providing a role model for future e-learning possibilities. We focus on coaching and developing the range of skills required in the ever-expanding business future.

e-learning and You

By adopting a simple but comprehensive approach to implementing e-learning, you will be better able to understand the business benefits that you are looking for, and much more likely to achieve the results you require - and more.
